CONNECTIONS SERIES, 2023
The Connections series explores, in a profound and sensitive way, the theme of autism and the complex nuances of human connections. Made with canvas strings on canvas, this series uses the simplicity of the threads as a metaphor for the fragility, tension and resilience of interactions between individuals on the autistic spectrum and society in general. The strings, which intertwine, move apart and break, symbolize the difficulties of communication, emotional disconnection and the constant search for authentic and meaningful connections.
Each work in the series reflects different types of connection — from the most fragile to the most robust bonds — highlighting how, for autistic people, establishing and maintaining these connections can be a challenging but essential process. By highlighting the importance of inclusion, the artist invites us to reflect on the need to create bridges of understanding and acceptance, both for those who face communication barriers and for those who need to learn to listen and feel in new ways. The series is not just a visual reflection, but a manifesto for empathy and inclusion, where each thread represents an attempt at connection, whether with others, with oneself or with the world.

TOPOGRAPHY OF THE VOID SERIES, 2022
Based on John Cage's studies on silence, the Topography of the Void series deconstructs the idea of emptiness and seeks to stimulate contact with the emotions that permeate a supposedly "empty" terrain.
In his experience with the anechoic chamber (1951), John Cage, a contemporary musician, demonstrated that silence, nothingness and emptiness did not exist, and could be understood as relations of intentionality and non-intentionality: while in silence there are unintentional noises, in music there are intentional sounds.
Based on this assumption, we can reflect on emptiness as an experience of non-intentionality, where emotions are not absent, they are just not being perceived.
The Topography of the Void series invites the public to map the void, to perceive the emotions, feelings, and memories that are present in it, and reiterates Cage's thesis: the void does not exist. It is filled with something. To understand it, it is necessary to observe it with attention and intention.
The series was exhibited at the Federal University of SC in September 2022.
TACHISM SERIES, 2021
Tachism – from the French tache – can be translated as “manchism”.
The works in Tachismo represent the expression of a floating signifier; a stain waiting for one or another reading, which updates it and invests it with some meaning. In the Tachismo Series, the artist works with the abstract as a tool to evoke emotions and feelings, inviting the public to signify in a unique and personal way not only the art on the canvas, but also their own affective perceptions provoked by observation.
The series was sold by a collector on Artsy - one of the largest digital art platforms.
